23 Weeks!

What Baby's Up To:
This little man is the size of a grapefruit this week!! Sometimes, it's really hard to believe that a little human the size of a large fruit is growing inside me. He's about 10 - 11 inches long and weighs between 12 and 20 ounces. Just for my peace of mind, for future labour thoughts, I'm going to believe he only weighs 12 ounces. This seems like a cool week. He is becoming much more aware of sounds. Listening to cars and dogs and other loud noises. He may even move around if he hears something familiar! Super neat! He's moving around right now as I write this, he must like you guys!

How I'm Feeling: 
I feel great! My belly is continuing to grow at a rapid pace and I'm finally feeling out of that "beer gut" belly phase and look as if I actually have a baby in there! Which is awesome! If you recall, a few weeks back I had mentioned I thought I noticed what appeared to be the start of *dun dun dun* stretch marks? Well, I promptly went out and bought some cocoa butter. Even if it is too late for such preventative measures I felt like it would at least help!? I'm happy to report that I can no longer see any "signs" of stretch marks any more! yay! As far as symptoms go this week, I haven't really noticed much. My back is getting sore a lot quicker than it ever has. Definitely a sign that this little guy wants me to walk like a hunchback!
